A Fork Full of Earth is a Marin County based, organic farm-to-table catering business. Our name was born out of the belief that culinary professionals have the responsibility to move beyond food preparation and service to provide education about the effect that conscious food choices have on our bodies and the planet. We do that by using our local farms and ranches as resources; connect our clients to the source of their food by highlighting farm fresh, seasonal products in our menus.

With offices in San Rafael and a production kitchen in Fairfax, we cook right in the heart of Marin County. We would be delighted to bring our delicious, California inspired food to your wedding, rehearsal dinner, retreat, birthday party or picnic. We are also set up to furnish your event with our selection of vintage, antique and “classically California” inspired linens, ceramics, and decorations.
We offer many options for food service, including:
- one time, full service event catering (weddings, fundraisers, parties)
- full service, seated, plated dinner parties
- multi-day event catering (workshops, retreats, festivals)
- drop offs to your event or home anywhere in the Bay Area
- pick-ups from our Fairfax kitchen
- personal chefing (on occasion)
- Coming this fall ~ monthly dinners and carry out from our Fairfax kitchen
Our passion is “pan to plate” cuisine which means we produce as many elements of your menu as possible at your venue. This means your food is as fresh and delicious as it can possibly be – akin to having a restaurant of your very own – operating just for you and your guests.
At the heart of our “wine country rustic” cuisine are simple, yet elegant recipes centered around California’s most favored flavors. Our original menus are driven by what is in season and what is at it’s peak at the markets where we shop. We create rustic preparations with a great care for detail and with a passionate focus on combining both classical and progressive flavors into creative, alluring, memorable dishes.
