a fork full of earth is an organization born out of the belief that culinary professionals have the responsibility to move beyond food preparation and service to provide education about the effect that conscious food choices have on our bodies and the planet.

a fork full of earth is more than a catering business. It’s a project in progress. Our website serves as an ever-expanding resource for anyone who is curious about food, it’s politics, and our duty as consumers to become more conscious citizens of the Earth. As an organization, we offer workshops, cooking classes, and customized education in addition to our offerings as caterers. We are equipped to handle any event from a classroom of dozens to a festival of thousands.

At the heart of a fork full of earth cuisine are time-honored recipes, centered around regionally diverse ethnic flavors. Our original menus are driven by what is in season. We create rustic preparations with a great care for detail and with a passionate focus on fashioning classical and exotic flavors into modern and approachable dishes.

Our events aspire to evoke an acknowledgment of what you ultimately consume when you enjoy a mouthful of food: the hard work of many committed hands, the delicate balance of sun, rain and nutrients; the opportunity to empower yourself through eating well.  Though we take great pride in the unique touch we add to the food, we enjoy even more knowing that we are a part of wildly intricate and delicate process.

Not content to follow fashionable food trends, we are dedicated to furthering the food traditions that invite a mindful appreciation of the source, cultivation and preparation of delicious cuisine.  We are eager to link people who are excited about healthy, whole foods to our network of farmers, agricultural enthusiasts, and others who are inspired by the movement to cultivate a sustainable world.
